Projects

Over the years, CYT has successfully spearheaded or co-produced
impactful events that bring together companies, celebrities, and non-profits
desirous of making a difference. Below are a few of our efforts.

The Celebrating Life, Celebrating YOU!! | A Virtual Female Empowerment Tour seeks to: 1) empower females to be advocates for their self-care, especially during these times and; 2) connect them to needed resources as deemed necessary by collaborating entities.

#CelebratingLife #CelebratingYou #ConnectingYOUto #CarpingDiemsAndStuff #PeleInspire #TheWomanWithin #ItsAnInsideJob #GisseleCreations #TaneishaNow #SheThrivesNowInc #KellyFitAndDance #KellyFitAndDanceStudio.

Collaborators will include media, non-profit organizations, health organizations, socially responsible companies, and other entities whose target groups include females. Many are experiencing stressful situations and mental health challenges during these trying times. The Tour seeks to play a small role in alleviating that. The Celebrating Life, Celebrating YOU!! | A Virtual Female Empowerment Tour kicked off, in Chicago, IL, on December 15, 2020.

“Beats to Success” Teen Mentoring event

We partnered with Stacey J. Enterprises and Helio PR to coordinate this event in 2013. Multi-platinum Grammy nominated super-producer Drumma Boy loves to give back and did through this event where he mentored teens interested in working in the music industry. He talked to them about goal-setting, having passion, and persevering. A highlight included his demonstration of how to make a beat! Sponsors included our long-term supporter, Walgreens and Hidden Beach Recordings.

It is: A multi-year campaign to raise awareness about the overall health reasons to use natural products on our skin. CYT produced several events that included celebrities, sponsors, and non-profit agencies towards the end-goal of highlighting this gem (iWi Fresh) in Atlanta, GA that is changing the narrative about true skin health.

Phenomenal ME Female Empowerment and HIV Prevention event

Our signature Female Empowerment and HIV Prevention event produced in commemoration of National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day sought to empower teens to make healthier life choices. Over 340 individuals attended and 63 were tested at this event which was sponsored by the Chicago Department of Public Health, Illinois Department of Public Health, and Walgreens.

BE AMPED Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign

Following the success of our 2013 breast cancer awareness campaign, we directed and produced the “BE AMPED for Breast Cancer: Give Yourself the Gift of Health for the Holidays”. Originally set for release in the fall of 2014, the campaign grew to be much bigger than expected with more media partners and community collaborators. In 2015, campaign partners collaborated to raise awareness and extend its reach into vulnerable communities with the goal of encouraging many to give themselves the gift of knowledge and their health as a priority.

“Change My Story” HIV Prevention Campaign

We partnered with Clear Channel Communications, Inc. and the AIDs Foundation of Chicago on this campaign which resulted in over 450 being tested for HIV and positively identified individuals being connected to primary care services. Grammy Nominated and renowned artists lent their voices to public service announcements (PSAs) that aired on radio stations, in Chicago, to several million individuals. “Say Yes to the Test” tapped the power of radio and engaged seven Clear Channel Chicago stations: 107.5 WGCI-FM, 103.5 KISS-FM, V103, Inspiration 1390 AM, 95.5 El Patrón, 97.5 ESPN Deportes, and 93.9 My FM. The PSAs aired in Spanish on El Patrón and ESPN Deportes.

Magic Johnson’s “Point Forward Day” HIV Prevention Initiative

We were very excited to partner with Walgreens and lend a hand to this initiative which provided free HIV screenings in 17 markets across the U.S. There was a Live Broadcast by Power 92 wherein Grammy Nominated Syleena Johnson and Singer/Songwriter Terisa Griffin stopped by to help spread the word about HIV prevention and testing.
